Cleaning Process

Not many people know how many steps we go through to satisfy our clients.  Here is the process your clothes go through after we have picked them up. 

1. Each order is individually checked into our computer system.  We enter in the clothing type (pants, blouse, jacket, etc.) and color of each garment in your bag. 

2. Dry cleaned items are checked for spots and stains for the first of 4 times in our process. 

3. For laundered shirts, we check and spray the collars to remove any stains.  We remove all collar stays prior to cleaning and place them in a bag with your ticket to be replaced after your shirts are pressed.

4. All items are checked for missing buttons and other damage.  We will alert you with a quick phone call to get your approval to take care of any small alterations that we think are necessary. 

5. Once all your items are checked into our computer system, we print out a ticket for your order and individual tags with your name, phone number and ticket number. A tag is attached to each item for tracking purposes and to eliminate the potential for lost or misplaced items.

6. Any items with stains are marked with cleaning tape and sent to our "spotter" for stain removal.  His "eagle eyes" check your items for a second time in our process.  

7. All items are then sorted by color prior to cleaning and washed according to manufacturer instructions, garment type, and color.

8. When items come out of the dry cleaning machine they are hung to await hand pressing.  Pants are pressed in one area of our facility, and all other items are pressed in a separate area.  Here, the third check for spots and stains happens; our pressers' eyes can catch previously unseen stains for removal.

9. Laundered shirts are pressed wet by a shirt pressing machine.  This virtually eliminates the chance of shrinkage because there is no tumble drying.  All shirts are touched up by hand and the first three buttons are buttoned to keep that clean, pressed look. 

10. Once your items are pressed they are spot-checked for the fourth time in our process while we sort and bag each order.  We use the computer tags and invoice to ensure each order is complete prior to delivery back you 

11. Each completed order has a copy of your invoice hanging on the front, and your cleaning bag is hung on the back, ready for you to fill for your next order. 

12. Once your items are returned to you, if you find a spot we missed or a garment that is not up to standard, let us know and we will re-clean the item at no charge to you.  Our Satisfaction Guarantee gives you peace of mind.
